During Lobuche Peak Climbing in Nepal, you pass through the beautiful rhododendron forests, cross high suspension bridges and climb through steep and icy slopes to aptly satisfy you with the mystical domain.

Lobuche West Peak Climbing begins with a 35 min scenic flight to Lukla. You walk through the Sagarmatha National Park and make your way to Namche Bazaar which is the gateway to Everest. Namche is the trading hub of the region and carries years of mountaineering history. After a day for acclimatization at Namche, you continue the trek through the dense forests and traditional villages to arrive at the beautiful village of Gokyo. You also climb up the Gokyo Ri (5560 m) which offers great views of Ngozumpa glacier and the surrounding Himalayas. From Lobuche High Camp, the trail is steep and snowy and is often challenging due to the strong winds and high altitude. You spend some quality time at the summit and then head towards Gorakshep. The hike to Kala Patthar is one of the highlights of this trek as you can get breathtaking views of the majestic mountains in the Everest region. Throughout this journey, you will be accompanied by the enchanting views of the snowcapped mountains like Everest (8,848 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Makalu (8,463 m), Nuptse (7,861 m) among many others. Along with these stunning views, you also get to observe the incredible biodiversity of the region and witness the heartwarming hospitality of the Sherpa community. Although classified as a moderate trek, the climb to the summit still requires the assistance of experts and excellent physical fitness. After arriving at Nepal’s airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation. On the journey from the airport to the hotel, you will pass by the Open Cremation Place (Pashupatinath temple), the Royal Palace Museum (Narayanhity), the Garden of Dreams, and Thamel. Your hotel will be located in the heart of Touristic Hub. Our consultant will assist you and go through your trip plans with you. There will be ample time to wander along Thamel’s street.

Day 2: Pre-trip meeting and touring in the Kathmandu Valley.

We will also have a pre-trip meeting with your guide/leader after breakfast. Following the meeting, you could go on a sightseeing tour of several landmarks in Kathmandu Valley, including UNESCO World Heritage Attractions and other prominent sites in the valley. You will have free time in the evening to do anything you like.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2800 m) and then to Phakding (2652 m)

You’ll fly from TIA to Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla, Solukhumbu. The plane takes you above the Himalayas, providing you with a beautiful stunning view of the higher mountains, including the famed Mt. Everest, which stands there in all its splendor with its snow-covered top. When we arrive at the airport, our Sherpa team will unload our trekking equipment, and our guide will inform you and introduce you to our porters before we begin our journey to Phakding.

Day 4: From Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m).

Following coffee, you take a walk through gorgeous pine trees and then along the Dudh Koshi River, completing your nature-filled excursion at Namche Bazaar. After nearly an hour of trekking, you come across the gleaming Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) on your right, as well as the peacefulness of pine, fir, and juniper woods. When the sky is fine, you could even see Mt. Everest looking over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Eventually move until you reach the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mt. Everest and the region’s primary trading town. On that day, you cross five suspension bridges, the tallest of which is known as the Hillary Bridge.

Day 5: Acclimatization The day would be set aside for acclimatization.

Instead of sitting inactive, health professionals advised that you be active and walk about even on your rest day. For this day, there are a few alternatives. You may either go about Namche or take a nap. Namche Bazaar is sometimes referred as as the Sherpa Capital. You may spend your time to acclimate, rest, and explore the area. Many climbers choose to get up early in the morning to see Mount Everest, Thamserku, Amadablam, and other spectacular peaks from the Sagarmatha National Park. Some might clearly grasp the immensity of the mountains by observing their shadows being cast onto the clouds above. As an energy source, salt-butter tea and Champa should be tried.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m).

During morning, we will begin our walk to Tengboche. The walk will begin with the ancient, but still popular, Everest Expedition Trail. The trek is a winding smooth road that leads you uphill through a thick forest of rhododendron and gives a great view of Mount Everest (8,848 m), Thamserku (6,618 m), and Amadablam peak rising at 6,856m positioned directly at the east side of Mt. Everest. You are quite likely to coincide with the Himalayan flora and animals. Tengboche is well-known for its Buddhist Monastery (where daily puja is held) and its views. After arriving in Tengboche, take a well-deserved break at a nearby lodge.

Day 7: From Tengboche to Dingboche (4350 m).

We begin our walk early in the morning, heading to the picturesque traditional Sherpa settlement of Dingboche, which has spectacular views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Amadablam. Meanwhile, we shall take our time trekking to prevent being harmed by the altitude. Then we drop into the river and begin the ascent to Dingboche.

Day 8: Dingboche to Chhukung (4,710 m), then back to Dingboche.

We’ll stay here for a day to acclimate and adjust to the lower air pressure. We will go to Chhukung valley through the Imja Khola valley for a spectacular vista of the surrounding mountains, including Lhotse’s huge south wall, before returning to Dingboche in the evening.

Day 9: 9: From Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m).

The route leading to Lobuche is scarce due to the altitude’s environment. The route continues along the Khumbu Glacier’s lateral moraine, passing through stone monuments commemorating climbers who died on adjacent summits. From this high vantage point, you will have an incredible panoramic picture of Mt. Everest. As a result of the altitude, some respiratory issues may emerge today.

Day 10: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m) and back to Gorak Shep (5,180 m).

You will continue your climb to Everest Base Camp at 5365 m in the early morning, the closest you can reach to Mt. Everest without climbing equipment along the Khumbu glacier. From Base Camp, the vista of the Khumbu Icefall is breathtaking. We return to Gorak Shep for the night after spending some hours at Everest Base Camp.

Day 11: Gorak Shep to Kalapatthar (5,555 m) & Trek Down to Lobuche.

It’ll be another significant and satisfying day of the journey. You will begin ascending Mt. Kalapatthar in the early morning, a tiny mountain (by Himalayan standards) at 5555 m / 18,225 ft. The approach is difficult, but the climber is rewarded with a stunning mountain panoramic view of Mt. Everest, the highest point on the earth at 29,028 feet (8848 meters), as well as other summits like as Nuptse, Pumori, and others. We make a fast descent to Gorak Shep before continuing on to Lobuche settlement.

Day 12: Trek to Lobuche East Base Camp (4,950 m).

The first part of the trek is rather straightforward, but the second part of the trail begins a tough rise to Lobuche base camp (4,950 m). En way, you will see breathtaking vistas of Tawache, Amadablam, Pokalde, Thamserku, Kantega, and other mountains.

Day 13: Trek to Lobuche's east summit and back to base camp.

This morning, we begin our ten-hour ascent of Lobuche mountain (6,119 m). We can see Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Pumori, Changri, and other peaks from the summit. After reaching the summit, we return to Base Camp safely the same day.

Day 14: Rest day

Today is the day of the rest. You may go sightseeing and relaxing in the surrounding region.

Day 15: Lobuche East Base Camp to Pangboche (3930 m).

We descend to Pangboche after climbing the Lobuche summit.

Day 16: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar.

From Pangboche, we shall leave the hills behind as our descent leads us towards the mountains and back to Namche Bazaar. We’ll return to Namche Bazaar in the later.

Day 17: From Namche Bazaar to Lukla.

During morning, we shall continue your hike via Chumoa village, a lovely place to stop for lunch. After lunch, you’ll hike down the river to Phakding before continuing on to Lukla. After a few hours of walking, you will arrive at Lukla, where you may rest and immerse yourself in the local culture and way of life.
